Synopsis[]

In the City of Sternbild, various ethnic groups as well as NEXT coexist. Some N.E.X.T. are backed by companies and sponsors to become heroes on the popular broadcast Hero TV, where they compete for points and popularity. At the end of each broadcast season, the hero with the most points is crowned "King of Heroes". One such hero, Wild Tiger, has the power to enhance his physical abilities by 100 for five minutes. Having debuted ten years ago, Tiger is considered a veteran hero passed his prime. Nicknamed “the Crusher for Justice” due to his habit of incurring property damage, Tiger is on thin ice when his failing sponsor company is bought out by the much more successful Apollon Media.

Trivia/Goofs[]

  • Assuming there is no lost time between scene changes, Kotetsu's Hundred Power is not shown active for a full 5 minutes. Accounting the time between its activation and end, it's visible duration is 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
  • The Princess Carry scene is at 9 Minutes and 10 seconds into the episode runtime.
  • End-of-Season scores, in order are:
  1. Sky High - 12730
  2. Blue Rose - 10992
  3. Fire Emblem - 9326
  4. Dragon Kid - 9233
  5. Rock Bison - 8989
  6. Wild Tiger - 8360
  7. Origami Cylone - 480
    • Most of these scores are seemingly impossible, as there's no known methods of earning or losing points that are not in multiples of 5.
      • The Monthly Hero 01 Booklet has a typo in the English translation, saying that Combo-arrests are worth 14 each. It is 15 points in the original Japanese.
  • In one scene, Barnaby is shown leaving the Apollon Media Building, walking past a child on his left. However, moments later, Kotetsu approaches the building from the same direction, as the child is also on his left. This is presumably a storyboarding error that went unnoticed, or unaltered due to time/budget constraints.
