Eternal Immorality is the 25th and final episode of Tiger and Bunny. The film Tiger and Bunny: The Rising would later serve as the series epilouge.

Plot[]

The heroes mourn the loss of Wild Tiger, who used himself to hold H-01 in place so Barnaby could blast the android with its own laser. Maverick and Rotwang arrive and gloat at android superiority, calling more copies of H-01 to kill them. In the meantime, Sato is trying to figure out the safety code that prevents the androids from killing. A stray laser blast knocks the stairs Maverick and Rotwang are on out the justice statue's eye. Holding on to Maverick's leg, Rotwang begs for help so they can continue exterminating NEXT. Maverick reveals that he's a NEXT and kicks Rortwang off, sending the man to his death. The heroes get surrounded, but just before they can be executed, the androids stop; Sato figured out the code. Maverick attempts to reboot the system, but is stopped by the heroes. Pulling out a gun, Maverick holds Kaede hostage; he heads to the helipad to escape. However, a figure rises from behind and punches Maverick in the face; its Wild Tiger!

Tiger explains that he only passed out from the pain; he scolds Barnaby for not checking his pulse. Maverick attempts slinking away again. When told he won't get away with his evil deeds, Maverick gloats that with his NEXT power and political influence, he can make people believe whatever lies he wants. At that moment, the HERO TV copter appears with the spotlight on Maverick. Agnes taunts him over the speakers, explaining that she got her memory back when everyone else did; she pretended to still be brainwashed to secretly bring the station back online. And Maverick's confession just went out live to all of Sternbuild. A defeated Maverick reveals that he is not the leader of Ouroborus, which he hints is larger than Barnaby believes. Maverick then uses his own power on himself, erasing his own memories. Tiger announces to the public he is retiring, while Barnaby retires as well since he doesn't wish to be a hero without Tiger as his partner. Elsewhere, Lunatic kills the amnesiac Maverick.

A year later, the remaining heroes continue their lives as normal. Dragon Kid is visited by her parents, Origmai Cyclone is visiting Edward in prison, Blue Rose is still crushing on Tiger, Fire Emblem makes a pass at Rock Bison. All six are called in for a high-speed chase, which Blue Rose wins. The cameras catch sight of the Second League heroes, which Wild Tiger has joined. Despite his Hundred Power having shrunk to a single minute of use, Tiger has returned to the hero life. Chasing some Christmas robbers, Tiger is saved from a fall by Barnaby; having discovered the safety code to the androids' fail safe was his parents' birthdays, he was inspired to be a hero again. Though this time he has joined the Second League.

Some time later, a kid is buying collectable cards of Barnaby and Tiger. He drops a dollar bill in a puddle; the justice statue symbol fades away to reveal the Ouroburos symbol, suggesting the Sternbuild government is in fact the true Ouroburos.

Trivia[]
